Cloud Forward – From Distributed to Complete Computing
Based on the HOLA Cloud project and platform – which documents European research, development and innovation in CLOUDs – the Cloud Forward scientific conference reviews experiences and discusses future directions to overcome problems and provide new opportunities for the utilisation of leading edge Cloud Computing by industry and academia and for ICT developers providing innovative solutions.
The events bring together experts from industry and academia to consider the future of and beyond Cloud Computing.
As main output of the conference, the Cloud Forward Roadmap aims at setting mid/long term R&D priorities of the areas of Software, Services and Cloud Computing (towards 2030).
Conference proceedings will be published by Elsevier Science in the open-access Procedia Computer Science.

The first Cloud Forward conference was held in Pisa from 6th to 8th October 2015 and was organised under the auspices of CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche), APRE (Agency for the Promotion of European Research), Region of Tuscany, University of Pisa, Municipality of Pisa, Fondazione Sistema Toscana, the Italian Ministry for the Economic Development, EGI and in friendship with Internet Festival. The event took place at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa from 6 to 8 October 2015.
